Nashville Predators forward Viktor Stalberg sustained an upper-body injury in Tuesday night's exhibition game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Stalberg will be shut down for the remainder of the team's exhibition slate, which includes contests with the Washington Capitals on Wednesday night and the finale against the New York Islanders on Friday.
Viktor Stalberg injury: Predators F out for remainder of preseason
Viktor Stalberg will miss the remainder of the exhibition schedule with an upper-body injury.

Stalberg sustained the undisclosed injury in the first period and was unable to return to the contest. The incident occurred when Tampa Bay defenseman Dimitry Korobov hit Stalberg in the Lightning defensive zone. Stalberg emerged from the play favoring his right arm and immediately went to the Nashville locker room.

Stalberg signed a four-year, $12 million contract with the Predators as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
Dirk Hoag believes Simon Moser might be presented an opportunity to crack the lineup with Stalberg out, via On the Forecheck:
Go back and listen to Trotz’s post-game presser, and you’ll hear the coach talk about how familiar they are with Moser’s game from watching him play for Switzerland at the World Championships, and some of the “small area” skills that he brings to the team.
Might Moser become the next Joel Ward, a late-blooming forward who comes out of nowhere to earn a job with the Preds? It looks like we have an interesting story to watch here over the final week of training camp...
