Lee Stempniak is having a pretty rough season for the Calgary Flames, and the way things are going for him right now makes it seem as if he's never going to score again.
Lee Stempniak hits post on empty net attempt
Lee Stempniak can’t buy a goal right now.

For the season, his 5.5 percent shooting is the second worst in the league among forwards with at least 100 shots on goal, and he hasn’t actually found the back of the net in 17 games. Late in the third period of Calgary’s 2-0 win in Carolina on Monday he had an opportunity to end that drought with the ultimate slump buster staring him right in the face -- the empty net situation.
And then this happened.
Right off the iron.
Sometimes it just isn’t your season.
