Finland released their men’s ice hockey roster for the 2014 Sochi Olympics on Tuesday morning.

Finland has released it’s men’s ice hockey roster for the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

The list included Anaheim Ducks forward Teemu Selanne, who will be competing in his sixth Olympic tournament, in addition to one of the strongest collection of goaltenders involved with the tournament. The trio is composed of Antti Niemi of the San Jose Sharks, Kari Lehtonen of the Dallas Stars and Tuukka Rask of the Boston Bruins. This means that injured Nashville Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne did not make the cut, however, he has been included as a standby player in case of injury.
In addition to Rinne, Anaheim forward Saku Koivu was not named to Finland's roster. However, that decision was made by Koivu himself, as he withdrew his name from consideration:
