Hockey can be dangerous, and Philadelphia Flyers forward Brayden Schenn is a lucky guy right about now.
Brayden Schenn’s stomach gets sliced by Dainius Zubrus’ skate
Brayden Schenn had a nasty cut on his stomach following an encounter with a skate on Tuesday night.

In the second period of their game in New Jersey on Tuesday, Schenn was accidentally kicked in the stomach by Devils forward Dainius Zubrus. The result was a gnarly gash across his midsection that the NBC Sports Network cameras were able to catch while he was getting repair work done on the bench.
Quick patch up job for Brayden Schenn and back on the ice! That's hockey for ya. @nhlflyers @nhldevils #NHLonNBC pic.twitter.com/xcnxsCo9wv
— NHL on NBC Sports (@NHLonNBCSports) January 8, 2014 My goodness. That could have been really, really bad. Fortunately for Schenn he was not only able to remain in the game, he went on to score the game-winning goal in overtime. That’s quite a night.
