How to watch Tuesday’s NHL schedule online, game times, preview and TV coverage

Carolina vs. Buffalo is on national TV in the United States on Tuesday night. What did we do to deserve that, NBC?

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

For some reason, the Carolina Hurricanes and Buffalo Sabres are the nationally televised game on NBCSN tonight. It might be the worst game on the Tuesday night schedule, but it'll be beamed into nearly every house in the United States.

No offense to Carolina and Buffalo, of course. But the Battle of New York? San Jose vs. Washington in the battle of perennial Eastern Conference chokers vs. Western Conference chokers? Colorado vs. Toronto in the battle of teams that stats nerds hate? Any of these would’ve been a better option.

Oh well. Up in Canada, two games will hit English-language national TV, including the Predators vs. Flames game, which isn't televised at all in Nashville.

Here’s the full schedule. All games are available on NHL GameCenter Live and NHL Center Ice in the United States aside from the Buffalo-Carolina game:
