Mikhail Grabovski injured after huge hit from John Scott

Mikhail Grabovski was one of the many offseason additions made by the New York Islanders in an effort to get rid of the awful taste that was the 2013-14 season. The early returns have been promising. But the Islanders received a bit of a scare on the first period on Thursday night when Grabovski had to be helped off the ice after he was on the receiving end of a massive hit by San Jose's John Scott. There was no penalty on the play and the hit looked to be a clean and legal one, but one that also had an unfortunate result for the Islanders.
