Tyler Seguin scores game-winning goal, completes Dallas comeback with 2.9 seconds to play

No lead is going to be safe against the Dallas Stars.

The Dallas Stars are one of the most exciting up-and-coming teams in the NHL, and the duo of Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn are going to be the guys driving the bus for them this season.

On Thursday, they helped lead a spirited third-period rally in Pittsburgh that saw Dallas erase an early two-goal deficit to pick up a thrilling 3-2 win. Trailing by a goal late in the game, the Stars had what appeared to be a game-tying goal taken away on a blown goaltender interference penalty. But off the ensuing faceoff, the Stars were able to get the equalizer anyway thanks to Benn’s second goal of the season.

Then, just as the game seemed to be on its way to overtime, Penguins captain Sidney Crosby was sent off for tripping with just nine seconds to play, and that was more than enough time for Seguin to score.

The score is already Seguin's fourth goal of the season. One of these days, the Boston Bruins are really going to regret that trade.
