Shootings in downtown Ottawa have postponed Wednesday evening’s game between the Senators and Maple Leafs. There are three other games on the schedule elsewhere, however.

USA TODAY SportsThe NHL has postponed Wednesday night’s game between the Ottawa Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs after gunfire broke out inside Parliament and at the National War Memorial.
As events unfolded, the Maple Leafs were on lockdown at the Westin Hotel in downtown Ottawa, which overlooks Parliament Hill. Team broadcaster Joe Bowen tweeted a photo of the scene from his hotel room, and some Leafs players reportedly heard some of the gunshots. Toronto’s morning skate was canceled.
