The New York Rangers have as many players ejected as the Minnesota Wild have goals.*
Pair of Rangers ejected against Wild for dangerous hits

The Rangers have lost both Chris Kreider and John Moore from their Monday night contest due to dangerous hits. Kreider was given a five-minute major for boarding and a game misconduct after hitting Jonas Brodin near the end of the first period:
The microphones on the ice could pick up the referee immediately exclaiming that Kreider was being ejected from the game because the hit was dangerous and occurred five feet from the boards. Brodin was able to return to the game and has taken two shifts in the second period.

The instance involving Moore came near the midway mark of the second period when he made contact with the head of Erik Haula. Moore was immediately given a match penalty and was removed from the game:
His penalty was served by Ryan Malone.
