Michael Ryder dekes around Jets, scores goal from his knees
That might be the definition of undressing your opponent.

For the longest time, the Jets looked like they would skate out of New Jersey with a 1-0 win on Thursday. Michael Ryder changed that in an instant, skating around Mark Stuart with a nice deke before roofing the puck past Jets goalie Ondrej Pavelec on the far side.
It was a beautiful goal that ultimately sent the game to overtime and diminished what would’ve been a rare shutout performance by Pavelec. Winnipeg fans have to be upset about that, but even they must appreciate the skills Ryder flashed there. Wow.
