Saturday NHL schedule: Times, TV schedule, previews and how to watch online

Welcome to November where there are 12 games to greet you. Winter is coming.

John E. Sokolowski-USA TODAY Spo

We’re officially one month into the season and November gets started with a bang. The Saturday schedule has 12 games lined up and goes deep into the night. Pull up that bag of candy from last night and settle in.

Perhaps the best game to get you started with is in Toronto where the Maple Leafs host the Chicago Blackhawks on Hockey Night in Canada at 7:00 p.m. ET. The Leafs are riding high after beating the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-1 on Friday. The Blackhawks have won two of their past three and are coming off a 5-4 shootout win against the Ottawa Senators on Thursday.

If that doesn't get you going, the Edmonton Oilers host the Vancouver Canucks at 10:00 p.m. ET. The Oilers are coming off a loss to the Nashville Predators on Wednesday, but won four consecutive games before that. Taylor Hall has been great so far with six goals.

The Canucks, meanwhile, enter the game rolling having won three in a row. Radim Vrbata has found a home playing alongside Henrik Sedin and Daniel Sedin. How the Canucks respond to losing Alex Burrows for the next three games due to suspension will be curious to watch.
