NHL schedule 2014: Ducks-Kings, Rangers-Penguins do it again

A full Saturday of action sees a pair of rematches from earlier in the week. Elsewhere, the Canadiens look to win five in a row and Ovechkin faces off with Tarasenko.

Saturday night is usually alright for fighting, but when it’s NHL season, that means you can spend the whole day on the couch and just watch hockey. With 12 games on tap starting as early as 1:00 p.m. ET with Carolina-Boston, you can get more than your fill and there’s a few to keep your eye on.

The Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings meet at 4 p.m. The two faced off on Wednesday when the Ducks won a thrilling 6-5 shootout match-up. The Ducks overcame multiple two-goal leads by the Kings on the way to the skills competition victory. This time, they'll be at Staples Center and the Kings will have to keep their eyes peeled on Ryan Getzlaf and Ryan Kesler. Also, Anze Kopitar will get the match-ups coach Darryl Sutter is happier with, but the Kings defense is banged up and they're short on cap space.

The Penguins get their chance to get back at the Rangers after being drubbed 5-0 at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday -- a loss that ended their eight-game winning streak. The Penguins are coming off a 2-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday while the Rangers lost a 4-3 shootout to the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday.

The Montreal Canadiens will be looking to win their fifth straight game when they host the Philadelphia Flyers.

Here is a complete look a the NHL schedule on Saturday and the coverage for each game. In addition to the television coverage, viewers can watch and follow the games online with coverage from NHL GameCenter Live and NHL Center Ice.
