Alex Ovechkin makes Avalanche look bad on game-winning goal
Ho-hum, just a highlight reel game-winning goal.

We've gotten so used to seeing Alex Ovechkin scoring highlight reel goals in the past that seeing one happen these days makes it feel like a throwback.
Check out Ovechkin wheeling around Colorado Avalanche defenseman Jan Hejda only to have Hejda bump him enough to help send his backhand shot against Reto Berra wide of the net.
Fortunately for Ovechkin, the puck took a big enough bounce off the end boards to wind up back on his stick enough for him to score his ninth goal of the season to break a tie game and help the Washington Capitals win 3-2 in Denver.
