Detroit and Philadelphia look to get consistent on Wednesday night.

The Red Wings are 5-3-2 in the past 10 games and the Flyers haven’t been any better going 4-5-1. One thing working in Detroit’s favor is they’ve been very good at home going 7-2-2.
Detroit has gone without Pavel Datsyuk in the past four games with a groin issue, but have gotten stellar play from Tomas Tatar who has a six-game point streak heading into the game. Over those six games, Tatar has five goals and three assists. His line with Riley Sheahan and Justin Abdelkader has been the Red Wings' most consistent line of late and one the Flyers will have to be prepared for.
That task may be difficult because Detroit's top line is just as dangerous with Henrik Zetterberg, Gustav Nyquist, and Johan Franzen. That line figures to be squared off evenly against Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek for Philadelphia.
Voracek is tied with Sidney Crosby for the league lead in points with 29. He and Giroux have combined for 53 points this season and have been the veritable dynamic duo for the Flyers.
One battle that might sneak up on everyone is in goal as Jimmy Howard and Steve Mason have played solid of late. Mason in particular has stood on his head the past few games including making 46 saves in a 1-0 shootout loss to the New York Islanders on Monday. Mason has been great throughout November, but going up against a Red Wings team that has at least a couple lines clicking at the moment will be a stiff test.
