Team USA hockey lineup: Jonathan Quick to start in playoff round
It comes as no surprise, but Team USA’s coaching staff has tapped Jonathan Quick as their go-to goaltender the rest of the way in the Olympics.

After dominating their group play and capturing the second seed overall, it's not surprise that the United States is going back to Jonathan Quick in goal. Quick backstopped Team USA to wins over Slovakia and Russia, with the shootout against the Russians being his highlight of the tournament, turning aside superstars like Malkin, Datsyuk, and Kovalchuk 5 times on 8 tries.
Pacioretty should be back in the lineup after being a scratch against Slovenia, which lends credence to the theory that it was a rest day for the highest scoring American over the last three seasons, as he suffered an injury in his last NHL game before the Olympics began.
Here are the lines Dan Bylsma was running at practice:
Forwards
James van Riemsdyk - Joe Pavelski - Phil Kessel
Zach Parise - Ryan Kesler - Patrick Kane
Dustin Brown - David Backes - Ryan Callahan
Max Pacioretty - Paul Stastny - T.J. Oshie
