Sidney Crosby entered Pittsburgh's game in Buffalo on Wednesday night riding a five-game goal drought. He ended that in the second period when he did this to the Sabres' defense.
Sidney Crosby splits the Buffalo defense for highlight reel goal
Sidney Crosby hadn’t scored a goal in five games entering play on Wednesday. He ended that streak in style.
Not sure what's more impressive about that play -- Crosby's ability to split an NHL defense with such ease and then roof one on Ryan Miller, or how helpless Mike Weber and Brian Flynn looked trying to defend him.
The goal gave Pittsburgh a 2-1 lead and was Crosby’s 28th of the season.
