When all else fails, just give the puck to Patrick Kane and let him beat everybody on the ice by himself.

That's pretty much what happened for the Chicago Blackhawks, facing a 2-0 deficit in Colorado on Wednesday night, when Kane added this submission to the NHL's goal of the year contest.

The way he turned Avalanche defenseman Jan Hejda inside out at full speed was impressive, but don't overlook how ridiculous the shot itself was to beat Semyon Varlamov with that backhander.
