To say that Zac Rinaldo plays the game on the edge would be quite the understatement.

Zac Rinaldo finally put something in the net, it just wasn’t the puck.


Sometimes he takes things a little too far and crosses the line, getting himself into "what the heck is he thinking" territory. That is kind of what he did in the first period on Wednesday night when he decided to deposit Rangers defenseman Raphael Diaz into the net after the whistle had already blown.
That’s a quality takedown, and it earned Rinaldo two minutes in the penalty box for roughing. Not exactly the type of penalty you want to take.
With just one goal in 60 games this season the Flyers probably wouldn't care if he put a few more things in the net every once in a while, but you don't really get anything if it's an opposing player.
