With the Florida Panthers trade for Roberto Luongo on Tuesday, Tim Thomas' immediate future with the team is in some doubt. No matter what happens over the next 24 hours, Thomas was in net against his former team in Boston on Tuesday night and started things off with this pretty awesome glove save on Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron, taking away what looked to be an easy goal.
Tim Thomas robs Patrice Bergeron
Tim Thomas can still make some great saves.

In typical Panthers fashion, however, the defense completely failed Thomas in the minutes that followed and a giveaway by the Tom Gilbert-Brian Campbell pairing resulted in a David Krejci goal. Jarome Iginla added another goal not long after that to give the Bruins an early 2-0 lead.
Still, that was one hell of a save on Bergeron. If nothing else it delayed the inevitable for a few minutes.
