NHL trade rumor roundup: Martin Brodeur wants out?
Martin Brodeur reportedly wants out of New Jersey, but who is going to trade for him?

Full Deadline Coverage
It seems that Martin Brodeur may have made general manager Lou Lamoriello's decision an easy one.
According to Sportsnet’s Nick Kypreos, Brodeur told his general manager on Tuesday night that he wants out of New Jersey and that Lamoriello will do his best to accommodate that request.
The problem New Jersey is going to run into is what exactly is the market right now for a goalie that wants to be a starter? Not to mention a goalie that is clearly at the end of his career and, by pretty much any objective measure, has been one of the worst goalies in the league this season.
Minnesota already filled its hole in net with Ilya Bryzglaov. St. Louis picked up Ryan Miller. That might leave the Chicago Blackhawks if they want a veteran goalie to backup Corey Crawford, but that wouldn't give Brodeur the opportunity to play more games.
If he does go, he ended his team in New Jersey with a win on Tuesday night.
- One name that kind of slipped under the radar on Tuesday with all of the movement is Martin St. Louis. John Shannon of Sportsnet reports that the Rangers have an offer in for the Tampa Bay Lightning captain.
- It's getting down to crunch time with Ryan Callahan and the New York Rangers. Will he get a new contract from the team, or is he on his way out of town?
- Darren Dreger said on TSN's Tradecentre on Wednesday morning that the Maple Leafs are not actively shopping free agent-to-be center Dave Bolland, but will listen to offers in case somebody blows them away with a package they can't pass up. Bolland is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent after this season.
- Other than St. Louis and Callahan, the other big fish in play is Vancouver Canucks center Ryan Kesler. Pittsburgh remains one of the teams that isn't hiding its interest in the shutdown center.
- As of Tuesday evening there were reportedly as many as six teams expressing interest in Edmonton Oilers forward Ales Hemsky. The Oilers will probably be looking to get a draft pick in return.
