    And it was Kane, as he’s been known to do from time-to-time in his career, scoring the game-winning goal in overtime to send the Blackhawks to the Western Conference Final and eliminate the Wild for the second straight season.

    In the end, the schedule didn’t matter. Neither did the anemic power play that couldn’t score, or the complete zero they put on the ice in Games 3 and 4 of their second round series, or the fact that Rick Nash still hasn’t scored a goal.

    None of it mattered because, at the end of the day, they still have King Henrik and nobody else in the NHL does.
