Watch Jeff Carter beat the buzzer, give Kings first lead of Stanley Cup Final
The New York Rangers gave up a buzzer beater to Jeff Carter just minutes after Mats Zuccarello missed on a wide open chance at the other end of the ice.

Scoring first hasn't worked out for the New York Rangers in the Stanley Cup Final, losing each of the first two games in overtime after jumping out to a 2-0 lead.
So maybe it’s for the best that they tried a different approach in Game 3.
Jeff Carter’s first period buzzer beater gave the Los Angeles Kings a 1-0 lead heading into the first intermission, and it happened just minutes after Rangers forward Mats Zuccarello had the puck on his stick with a wide open net in front of him, only to have this happen.
It seems that the shot initially hit off the goal post and then may have deflected off the stick of a sprawling Jonathan Quick to stay out of the net.
Even though the Kings have a 2-0 lead in the series, this is the first time they have had the lead in any of the games.
