We all knew Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien can deliver big hits and even bigger slap shots from the point. But no one knew he could do what he did on Friday to win the game for Winnipeg.

The Jets and Calgary Flames were tied at 1-1 with a little over a minute left in regulation when Byfuglien received the puck at his own blue line. He then surprised everyone, going end-to-end and between the legs for one of the best goals of the season so far.
That goal was so hot it melted the referee’s mic.
Byfuglien’s goal was the sealer for the Jets’ 3-1 win.
