Note to all NHL players: If you value your facial features you should not try to land a questionable, late or high hit on New York Rangers defenseman Marc Staal. He will get angry and punch you in the face.

Columbus Blue Jackets forward Jared Boll learned this the hard way on Friday. As Staal handled the puck behind the net, Boll came flying in late while Staal had his back turned. The hit was high, and while it was legal Staal wasn't pleased with it.
So much so that his fist targeted Boll’s noggin as soon as they ended up near each other again.
When it comes to Marc Staal, revenge is a dish best served quickly and to the face. Apparently.
