Referee take downs are always fun -- minus injuries -- no matter the sport. Hockey refs are constantly in danger of getting into the play instead of watching them happen, whether it being the subject of pucks to extremities or being run into on bang bang plays.
Brandon Dubinsky misses his check, takes out a ref instead
Bad night for the guys in stripes.

Brandon Dubinsky of the Columbus Blue Jackets got the latest unfortunate referee with a body check thanks to the last-second movement of the forward's intended target. Dubinsky had lined up Henrik Sedin in his sights near the boards, but the Vancouver Canucks captain merely sidestepped the incoming check and the nearby referee got the full blunt of the blow instead.
