Byron Froese's face might just hurt for a little while after this tumble. The Maple Leafs forward went hard into the boards with Carolina Hurricane Brad Malone, and the result was a face plant right into the ice.

— Stephanie (@myregularface) November 21, 2015 There almost looks to be a nasty cut from the top of his nose past his eyebrow. If so, it's not surprising since Froese wears a visor and the impact probably caused the piece of plastic to slice part of his face. Could have been worse, but he might come away with a Tyrion Lannister type of scar. So, positives?
