What could have been a scary situation turned into a heartwarming one after a hit from Ryan Johansen caused a glass panel in Pittsburgh to pop out of its spot and into the fans behind it. Johansen took Penguin defenseman Ian Cole hard into the glass, causing the entire section to fall out into the stands with Cole landing on the boards.

— Stephanie (@myregularface) December 22, 2015 The glass panel didn't injure anyone, though the woman and little kid directly in front of it got knocked back from the force of the impact with Cole. To make up for the errant hit that caused the scare, Johansen gave the little fan his stick while the arena crew were repairing the glass panel.
