In one of the biggest surprises so far on this Tuesday night of hockey, the Blue Jackets have put up a three-spot on the league-leading Dallas Stars in one period. The home team in Columbus was leading the visitors 3-1 after the first 20 minutes of play, but the goal scoring talents of one Tyler Seguin has the Stars back in the game.
Tyler Seguin splits Columbus defense before snapping quick wrist shot goal
Goal number 21 for No. 91.

The speed of Seguin through the neutral zone cannot be matched by any of Columbus' defenders as the forward glides into Blue Jacket territory. Jamie Benn's pass is only on Seguin's stick long enough for the forward to position himself between the two Blue Jacket defenders before pulling off a quick wrist shot top shelf on goaltender Curtis McElhinney.
Columbus was able to strike once more before the end of the second period to restore the two-goal lead from the grasp of the Stars.
