The NHL will feature a relatively light schedule on Friday, including a meeting between division rivals Los Angeles and Anaheim. The Kings trails the Ducks by 13 points in the standings, however LA's been surging of late and looks like a contender once again. Its nine-game win streak was snapped on Thursday by a 1-0 loss to the Ottawa Senators.
NHL schedule 2015: Kings, Ducks meet for Pacific Division clash
Friday’s slate includes two heavyweight battles.

The Ducks, meanwhile, have won three in a row and seem to have rebounded from a 1-4-1 stretch earlier in the month. Anaheim has won the first three matchups of the season -- all in an shootout or overtime.
On the other coast, the Chicago Blackhawks will visit the Tampa Bay Lightning for what should be an entertaining contest. The Bolts are considered by many to be the best team in the Eastern Conference, and the 'Hawks remain a threat despite losing Patrick Kane to a broken collarbone.
