NHL schedule 2015: Kings look to continue playoff push

Los Angeles needs to hit its stride to make it back to the postseason.

Anne-Marie Sorvin-USA TODAY Sports

Less than 20 percent of the regular season remains, and the reigning Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings are still outside the playoff picture looking in.

LA, who trails eighth-place Calgary by two points in the standings, needs to beat Vancouver Thursday night to keep pace with the Flames. The Kings lead the seasons series, 2-0.

The Canucks have their work cut out for them as well, although they do have more security. According to SportsClubStats.com, Vancouver has a 94.4 percent chance of qualifying for the postseason. The Kings, conversely, have a 67.8 percent chance as of Wednesday night.

Here is a complete look at Thursday’s schedule. All times are ET.
