Jamie Benn wins Art Ross trophy in dramatic fashion
This one came down to the wire.

With nine seconds left in Dallas’ finale against Nashville, Benn notched his fourth point of the night -- an assist on Cody Eakin’s 19th goal of 2014-15 -- to win this year’s Art Ross Trophy, awarded annually to the NHL player who leads the league in scoring.
Benn, 25, finished his sixth NHL campaign with 87 points -- just barely edging John Tavares (86) and Sidney Crosby (84). The talented left wing closed out the year with 10 points in his final three contests.
Prior to that trophy-clinching helper, Benn scored a hat trick that allowed Dallas to end a tumultuous season on a high note. It also sent Nashville to the playoffs on a six-game losing streak.
