Senators vs. Canadiens Game 1, NHL playoffs 2015: Time, TV schedule and live stream
The Canadiens and Senators kick off their best-of-seven first-round series in Montreal on Wednesday night.

The 2015 NHL regular season is over, and it is now time for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators will kick the postseason off at 7 p.m. ET at Bell Centre in what should be an exciting best-of-seven series between two Atlantic Division rivals.
Scouting the Habs
The Montreal Canadiens enter the first round of the playoffs with the status of forward Max Pacioretty unknown. He will miss Game 1, but the possibility remains that he’ll be back later in the series.
Pacioretty missed the Habs last two games of the season due to an upper-body injury on April 5. Pacioretty led Montreal with 67 points during the season, and scored six points in four games versus the Senators in 2014-15.
Goalie Carey Price has been everything for the team this season. Price is a Hart Trophy favorite as league MVP after posting a record of 44-16-6 with a 1.96 GAA and .933 save percentage. More from Habs blog Eyes On The Prize:
After breaking a single-season wins record of a team that has competed in over 100 of those seasons, and locking up not only the Vezina Trophy, but probably the Hart Trophy as the league’s most valuable player as well, Carey Price will be the main determining factor in whether the Habs get to the second round.
Scouting the Sens
Back in February, the Ottawa Senators sat 14 points out of a playoff spot. Ottawa then made a very impressive push for the playoffs in the second half of the season, led by rookie goaltender Andrew Hammond (21-1-2), Mark Stone and Erik Karlsson. Their 21-3-3 run to the postseason was enough to qualify with a Game 82 win on Saturday.
Surely, they’re not going to be an easy out after this remarkable stretch -- even for the Price-led Habs.
Three questions to answer
1) Can Mark Stone continue his stellar play for the Sens?
2) Will Andrew Hammond bring his regular season magic to the playoffs against the Habs?
3) What will Montreal do if Max Pacioretty is out longer than one game?
