Jets vs. Ducks, NHL playoffs 2015 results: Anaheim tops Winnipeg, 4-2

Anaheim’s strong third period made the difference yet again.

The Jets' first playoff game since relocating to Winnipeg ended the same way as every other in franchise history.

Anaheim's Corey Perry scored twice and earned two assists, and Ryan Getzlaf seal the victory with a late tally of his own as the Ducks came back to win Game 1, 4-2 — their 25th come-from-behind triumph of the year.

Anaheim got on the board first courtesy of a Sami Vatanen tip-in, but that lead wouldn't hold for long as Adam Lowry scored less than a minute later for Winnipeg. The Jets took a 2-1 lead with 5:00 left in the second via a Drew Stafford wrist shot.

Perry evened the score early in the third period on the man advantage and put the Ducks ahead with a shorthanded mark after Clayton Stoner was sent to the box for high sticking. His game-winner was not initially ruled a goal, but the video clearly showed the puck going in the net.

Anaheim goaltender Frederik Andersen wasn't particularly sharp, saving 20 of 22 shots, and neither was Winnipeg's Ondrej Pavelec, who surrendered three goals on 30 shots. Andersen gave up plenty of juicy rebounds while Pavelec failed to raise his game until the bright spotlight.

Winnipeg will continue its search for a playoff win on Saturday in Anaheim at 10:30 p.m. ET.
