Canadiens vs. Senators, NHL playoffs 2015: Time, TV schedule and how to watch Game 3 online

The Ottawa Senators return home to Canadian Tire Centre for Game 3 of their first round Stanley Cup Playoffs series against the Montreal Canadiens, but the success of Ottawa's third chance at their first win of the series just might depend on the second period.

The Canadiens lead the best-of-seven series 2-0 after a pair of home wins, but it was the Senators thinking upset with 1-0 leads after the first period of both games in Montreal.

Four goals in the second period of Game 1 guided the Canadiens to a 4-3 win, then two goals in the second period of Game 2 gave Montreal a lead in a game they would eventually win in overtime, 3-2.

Seven different players have scored Montreal's seven goals in the first two games of the series, and P.K. Subban has been at the center of it all with a goal and two assists.

Ottawa beat Montreal in three of their four regular season meetings, outscoring them 14-9 in the process, but they are down 2-0 in the series. The Senators were 23-13-5 at Canadian Tire Centre during the regular season, but Montreal was no slouch on the road, going 24-13-4 away from home.

“We’ve done this all year long,” Senators captain Erik Karlsson told NHL.com. “We make it a little too hard on ourselves sometimes. That’s the way it is. We’re in the situation we’re in. We haven’t lost anything yet and they haven’t won anything yet. All we can do is play the next game.”

NBC Sports Network will provide national coverage of Game 3 from Ottawa, with Chris Cuthbert and Bret Hedican on the call.
