The Tampa Bay Lighting, picked by many to advance far in this year’s Stanley Cup Playoffs, are one loss away from becoming a massive disappointment.

Tampa Bay needs to win in Detroit to avoid elimination.

Shutout by the Detroit Red Wings in Game 5, the Bolts need to win Game 6 at Joe Louis Arena -- where they earned a crucial overtime victory last Thursday -- to stay alive in the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
That come-from-behind triumph evened the series, but Detroit’s 4-0 win on Saturday put Tampa on the brink.
To stave off elimination, the Lightning surely need Ben Bishop to find some consistency. The 28-year-old netminder has a .901 save percentage so far during the playoffs -- a step down from his pedestrian regular season numbers, which include a .916 save percentage and 2.32 goals against average.
In the other crease, Peter Mrazek can send Detroit to the second round with another strong showing. Mrazek, 23, who's replaced Jimmy Howard between the pipes, has two shutouts so far in the series and has surrendered just nine goals on 143 shots -- good for a whopping .937 save percentage.
