Montreal Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty left Sunday's game against the Florida Panthers after sustaining an upper-body injury 5:38 into regulation. The talented left wing, who has reached the 30-goal plateau for the second consecutive year, appeared to hurt his head after being thrown into the boards by Panthers defenseman Dmitry Kulikov.

Officials called an interference penalty on Kulikov, and Florida's Erik Gudbranson was whistled for high sticking moments later -- giving Montreal an extended five-on-three advantage. The Habs converted on the power play shortly thereafter to break the scoreless tie courtesy of a Tomas Plekanec wrist shot.
