Late in Sunday's game between the Caps and Detroit Red Wings, Danny DeKeyser wound up for a big slap shot -- one that appeared to have a clear path to the net. Wilson, however, sprawled out on the ice and blocked the shot with the side of his face.
According to Capitals head coach Barry Trotz, Wilson went through concussion protocol, but the results have yet to be shared.
