Stanley Cup Final 2015: Game 1 scheduled for Wednesday, June 3

The National Hockey League has announced the schedule for the 2015 Stanley Cup Final, which will begin at Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay on Wednesday, June 3.

The Tampa Bay Lightning clinched their spot by beating the New York Rangers in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Final at Madison Square Garden on Friday night, followed by the Chicago Blackhawks beating the Anaheim Ducks in Game 7 of the Western Conference Final at Honda Center on Saturday night.

The Stanley Cup Final is a 2-2-1-1-1 format, with the Lightning hosting Games 1 and 2, then if necessary, Games 5 and 7. Tampa Bay (108 points) had a better record during the regular season than did the Blackhawks (102 points).

In the regular season, the Lightning and Blackhawks split two games, with one game going into overtime.

Here is the seven-game schedule for the 2015 Stanley Cup Final, with all start times set for 8 p.m. ET except for Game 2:
