The Chicago Blackhawks are nearly unbeatable this season when they score first, so the Anaheim Ducks have to be a little worried about their chances after an early blitz by Jonathan Toews.
Jonathan Toews scores twice as Blackhawks lead early in Game 7
Anaheim had no answer for Chicago’s captain early on.

The Blackhawks lead 2-0 after one period in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals thanks to two quick scores from their captain and a strong defensive showing. Just a few minutes into the period, Chicago defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson blocked a shot, skated up ice and fired a shot that rebounded right into Toews' lap for a goal.
Later in the frame, the Blackhawks earned a two-goal lead when Toews floated a shot past goalie Frederik Andersen on a power play.
Reminder: the Blackhawks are 8-1 when scoring first in the playoffs, and 35-9-2 during the regular season. So Anaheim has their work cut out for them.
