The NHL's recent history of biting in the playoffs might have continued in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final, with Chicago Blackhawks pest Andrew Shaw as the prime suspect.
Did this Blackhawks player bite a Lightning player during a tussle?
That’s taking pest to a new level.

Late in the first period, Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman accosted Patrick Kane behind the net after a shot on goal. Shaw rushed to his teammate's defense, and found himself in an arm lock by Hedman.
Just a typical scrum, right? Hedman apparently didn’t think so. He showed off something on his skin to a teammate afterwards.
According to our team of expert lip readers, it appears Hedman said, "he bit me!" If so, congrats, Shaw! You can now join Alex Burrows on the list of playoff biters. If not, then we are sorry that Hedman has besmirched your good name.
