The United States plays an important semifinal game against Russia in the World Junior Championship on Monday, and their coach seems completely prepared for the matchup.
Team USA coach admits he knows nothing about the Russian team hours before playing them
“I don’t know them!”

Just kidding. Quite the opposite, in fact! Before the game, coach Ron Wilson was asked what he knew about the Russian side. His answer was more than a little concerning:
Hoo boy Ron Wilson might get a lot of crap for this if Team USA doesn't win today pic.twitter.com/YdOuJw6gr0

“Yeah, I couldn’t tell you any players on the Russian team. That’s probably a good thing. I don’t know any of their players.”
...
“...I don’t know them! I don’t -- do you know any of the Russian players? No, and I’m in the same boat. I’ve never seen them play before.”
That surely won’t come back to haunt him if the U.S. loses!
