Sure.
The Dallas Stars are in town for a matinee affair, and the Philadelphia Flyers defenseman is at his pot-stirring best. Stars winger (and fellow pot-stirrer) Antoine Roussel got him riled up early, leading to this amusing exchange.
Minutes later, the refs tried to calm Gudas down with a clipping penalty on Roussel.
Yeah. That didn’t work.
Because not only did Gudas make a run at the Stars’ net for a scoring chance in the second period, he managed to end the run by ... head-butting Stars defenseman Jamie Oleksiak in the groin? What?
Oh my. Yes. He prairie-dogged and then charging-rhinoed him right in the nether regions. Of course, Oleksiak is 6’7, so that isn’t too hard. But color us impressed by the ingenuity on display there by Gudas.
