It’s that time of year.
Every roster move completed before the 2016-17 NHL holiday roster freeze
Get your trades in now before Monday’s deadline!

The time of year when NHL teams frantically rush to buy each other (or their minor league affiliates) gifts for the holidays in the form of players they don’t want anymore. It’s a really touching time of year. From the heart.
With the holidays (specifically: Christmas) looming this weekend, the NHL will freeze team rosters at 11:59 p.m. E.T. on Monday. That means no trades, no AHL call-ups or demotions, and no waivers. You’re stuck with the guys on your NHL team until the league resumes play on Dec. 27.
This might result a flurry of trades today. This might result in nothing of consequence. Let’s hope for the former. Check back all day as we update with the latest from the NHL’s annual holiday hockey shopping spree.
