Despite sending home one of the country’s best players, the United States will field quite a roster of talented players for the 2017 World Junior Championships in Toronto, Canada, next week.
2017 World Juniors: United States names many NHL prospects to final roster
And a lot of Boston College and Boston University kids.

Team USA made its final cut, Boston University defenseman Chad Krys, on Saturday to reach the maximum size of 23 players. Minnesota Wild forward prospect Luke Kunin will captain the team, while Team USA World Juniors returnees Colin White and Charlie McAvoy will serve as alternate captains.
The United States pulled off a solid tournament in 2016, finishing with the bronze medal after falling to Russia in the semifinal round and beating Sweden in the bronze medal game.
The rest of Team USA’s roster follows, along with their current junior teams and their NHL teams.
