The New Jersey Devils began their game on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins with two turnovers. That wasn’t great.
Taylor Hall dekes through a Penguins defender’s legs for a pretty goal
From turnover to goal in three seconds.

Luckily, the first turnover they forced turned into one of the prettiest goals of the season in the NHL. And Taylor Hall was behind all of it.
Penguins center Evgeni Malkin tried to flip a pass up-ice at the top of his own zone, but the speedy Hall promptly knocked it out of mid-air and turned on the afterburners.
What a play. Defensemen Ian Cole and Chad Ruhwedel had no chance of stopping that train.
Since joining the Devils this summer, Hall has been as good as advertised. He has 23 points in 26 games despite missing a few weeks with an injury.
