For a minute there, it seemed like Tampa Bay Lightning goalie Ben Bishop was hitting his stride after a rough start to the season.
Lightning goalie scores on himself instead of covering the puck
Whoops.

Sure, he’s suffered seven losses in his last 12 starts. But he held the Capitals and Hurricanes to a combined two goals in his last couple of appearances, so maybe things are looking up!
Oh. Yeah. That’s Bishop hitting the puck into his own net like he’s playing air hockey.
All this was missing was Darth Vader screaming “NOOOOOOOOOO!”
Ben Bishop, after a few years contending for Vezina Trophies, is slogging through an 8-9-1 record with a 2.74 goals against average. Not great.
