Buffalo Sabres winger Evander Kane might've enjoyed the 2016 NBA All-Star Game in Toronto a little too much.
Evander Kane enjoyed the NBA All-Star Game so much he missed Sabres practice the next day
He is now suspended for one game.

On Monday morning, Sabres coach Dan Bylsma announced the winger would not play on Tuesday against the Ottawa Senators, only specifying that the talented winger "broke a team rule" by missing practice.
Coach Bylsma: Evander Kane missed practice. Broke a team rule. We will be dealing with it internally.

What could’ve possibly kept him out so late he missed practice the next day? His Instagram account leaves a clue:
Makes sense. Toronto is just a hop, skip and a jump from Buffalo, after all. As long as it doesn’t interfere with your jo-oh, no, Evander:
Evander Kane was at the NBA all-star game yesterday and he called Sabres to say he won't be at practice today. Kane will not play tomorrow.

This is not a good look for Kane, who had various off-the-ice indiscretions in Winnipeg that helped necessitate a trade to Buffalo. Since joining the Sabres, however, Kane has been one of their most productive players without incident.
