Phil Kessel must have really taken this players poll to heart. On Tuesday, the Toronto Sun released their annual players poll for the NHL, which surveys various NHLers across the league for their opinions on best Canadian city to the dirtiest player.
Days after being voted the NHL’s most overrated player by his peers, Phil Kessel is scoring goals in bulk
One way to silence the haters? Score ALL of the goals!

And what do you know? The players named Penguins offseason acquisition Phil Kessel the NHL's most overrated star. Even with 54 points in 76 games, the polled players felt Kessel wasn't pulling his share of the load with the Penguins.
His response was to, of course, score a pair of goals for the Penguins in just over 22 minutes of play.
Kessel’s been heating up at the right time for the Penguins too, with nine points in his last four games. Overrated or not, it’s a good sign for the Penguins as they rumble their way into the playoffs.
