Sabres head coach could only stare blankly into the distance after disallowed goal

I’m pretty sure everyone’s felt this feel before.

Hockey coaches can often get pretty irate in the face of a call that doesn't go their way. Just ask Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville after he blew up at a referee earlier last month.

Dan Bylsma of the Sabres, on the other hand, was on the complete opposite end of the reaction spectrum to a no-goal call: stunned silence.

The goal in question did cross the line, but was disallowed on the grounds that forward Hudson Fasching had made incidental contact with Maple Leafs netminder Garret Sparks.

Considering the Sabres were leading the Maple Leafs 3-1 at this point, Bylsma had no reason to be terribly upset by the call. One can only imagine what would have happened if the game had been even closer.
