It’s April Fools’ Day, otherwise known as the time of year where sports brands make terrible decisions in an effort to be funny.
The Devils were 1 good photoshop away from a decent April Fools’ Day joke
You can’t miss it.

And the New Jersey Devils came so close to a perfect decision.
The Devils made a shocking fake announcement on Friday that they’ve applied to change their name to the New Jersey Angels next season. It’s a pretty good idea, and they even made a fancy (and good-looking) website to boot!
But look closer and you’ll find something you can’t un-see: an un-good photoshop job.
The Devils couldn't have spent a *little* more time on this photoshop? pic.twitter.com/GbSZyG18P2

I mean, they tried. They were so close!
